Quick update before the comic: Book orders that were placed in late October until now are still delayed. The fuel shortage in NYC has stopped the USPS pick up service which is the only way I can get packages to the post office. I don’t know when the service will resume but when it does, the packages will go out ASAP. In the mean time, you can buy books from me in person this weekend at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival this Saturday from 12-7 in Williamsburg. I’ll be tabling with Koyama Press at table U16-U17 on the main floor. I’m gonna be selling The Infinite Wait, some hand drawn art and a bunch of jewelry/craft shit.
And last but not least, many people in NYC are still in need of a lot of assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy so if you live here, I’d highly encourage you to make donations of clothes, food, toiletries, etc…or to donate money to the Red Cross, New York Cares or any other place you can. There will be a number of exhibitors at the Brooklyn Comics fest who are donating portions of their earnings so that’s another way you could help out and also get some good comics this weekend.
And now please enjoy this comic written by me and illustrated by Laura Park. It originally appeared in Papercutter #6 many years ago.
