Some things to put your eyeballs on today:
1) Tom Spurgeon posted a long interview with me on The Comics Reporter. Tom’s a great interviewer, but phone interviews are tough. Apparently, when I do interviews with my mouth, I like to say the same thing in three different ways before giving up. So check if out if you want to read about my experiences with being sick, working with big and small presses, Hollywood, being a mediocre artist, and blahblahblah.
2) some places I’ll be doing stuff next month that you should come to: Nov 5th: The Moon reading for BCGF. Nov 15th: book release party at Desert Island with Nate Bulmer. Nov 19th: In conversation with Ellen Forney at The Strand @7pm. (if you can only make one event, it should probably be this one)
3) I still have some copies of The Infinite Wait to sell. It looks like I might run out of them next month so you might wanna hop on it if you want to read it.
4) I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately, but it’s because I’m working on a new blog about my urban exploration adventures. I really wish there was another way to say “urban exploration” without sounding like a tool. The blog is going to have a lot of before/after photos so it’s taking FOREVER. Here are some previews of the Greystone Psychiatric Hospital:
